I just bought a 03 ltz . Is there any problems I should be prepared for ?

I got a 03 ltz 400 today great shape hardly ridden and I paid 1550 it great shape . Is there any problems I should be prepaired for ? And imma get a hmf and powerbomb or mega bomb header to so any problems I may have there ?

The stock valves are kinda weak so if you ever check clearance and they have 0 clearance replace those with some kibblewhites. The cam chains tend to go fairly quick too because of the overly powerful ACCT. if that goes replace it with a DID and you can buy a MCCT to reduce unneeded tension. Finally with a 03 watch the shock towers for cracks and the bearing carrier adjustment bolts in the back.

It's been a few years since I owned one, but I thought there were issues with the frame cracking. I raced MX and had a Bare Performance gusset kit and never had any issues after that.
