I am trading for a '11 apex 100 and I am limited to 96cc what is the best bang for a buck to get this motor a 96 or lower but still run good what combo is suggested? Top end? Crank? Thanks!

Polini has a 94cc kit that would rock that limit

If they specified a 96cc limit, that must be for the 42mm stroke 54mm bore combination which is 96.1cc's. I am guessing that, that is what is in the Apex 100. If Apex went with the 45mm stroke 52mm bore combination, than the total cc would be 95.6cc's. It does not say on their site what the combination is.

In the parts section it specs a 45 stroke and a 53 bore which I think is a 99.3cc. Is the polini a direct bolt on to these cases and will the stock crank work or will it need to be replaced too?

The polini stroke is 44. so you would need a new crank.

Polini big-evo4 for sure the best at 94cc and tons of torque. My nephew just got one and stock with the Mach-1 pipe it runs right with our ported 2fast and the best part is the price is half the cost .
