Looks good Tom!
As I told you and now will share with whoever looks at this thread. If you guys want to run the Honda bolt pattern rims plus gain about 2 inches of rear axel width - If you take the old 300ex hubs and machine .26 off the front where the axel nut and washer contact the hub, Your good to go. Hubs will slide on with a little "help".

Looks great Tom!!

Working on a 250 right now with an FCR carb install with a CFM air box. Your not kidding when you say tight fit.

Thanks,

That looks awsome!!! Sure would hate to have to pull that carb off a whole lot. Tight fit is an understatement.

Nice build but ur going to need more gussets. I know first hand how Wesly rides! Front stem upper and lower. Lower rear motor mounts, rear sub frame by exhaust. Also spindles will have to be filled and built up where the tap holes are for those stupid plastic rock guards, Wesely will crack those quickly. Really like ur build!

Thanks for the compliments.

Yes Westley is quite the maniac. But Hopefully, the frame will hold up to his punishment. We monitor it after every race. I have his suspension set up pretty soft for him to. So, hopefully that will help. I will keep you posted on the frame.

He has won the last two GNCC races on it. We're pretty happy with his results.

Thanks,
Tom

He is quite the rider, him and my son got tangled up on the step up last year at Pell City...it was scary! Please make sure to check on those spindles where the rock guards are tapped through the spindle! Wtg on both wins!!!!!!

Hi we run a similar set up and are looking for a more effiecent intake option. Can you please let us know how much room you have between the inlet tube and the upper shock stem. We run a dual spring and the primary coil displaces where you appear to have free area. Before commiting to this intake we would like to know if there is room for us to fit this CFM product?

Hey nzraptor,

The CFM air box does work with the 150 carb, it works with just about any shock I have used. It does take some modifications though...

I'll post a couple pics

We are running this setup with an Axis Dual rate and a Keihin FCR

The reservoir hose on the shock has to be reversed as shown in the photo but the spring will not interfere at all.

Closest fit issues are the carb (model dependent) and the reservoir hose. We ran heat wrap around the pipe from the can to cases to avoid adding heat to the shock oil
