running 04-05 rear ends swingarm on 06+

would there be any disadvantages to running 04-05 rear setups on 06+ or is it all the same thanks

Some people do it for flat track racing...just under an inch shorter swingarm. Depends what you're going to us the quad for..

the 06 is longer and can acomadate a longer shock= more travel

if i buy a 04-05 aftermarket setup and put it on my 07 would there be any disadvatages besides length

What all is included with the aftermarket setup? Most aftermarket 04/05 swingarms are longer anyway. 04/05 models handle better in 90% riding with longer swingarm.
