Shock Question

There is this guy that has a set of front works tripple rates with rezzies for sale, BUT the thing is they are really not tripple rate, he said that he broke the main spring(the biggest one) on one of the shocks so he got protech suspension to put stock 400ex springs on the works and got them both revalved and all re-freshed, He said he has the reciepts of over 400 dollars worth spent on the shocks at protech suspension,he said he would sell them for around 375 I think.
What do you all think, would it be worth gettin these, he said that they worked pretty good after they were all done,
Or should i just stay away from these and look for other shocks?

I would look for another pair. I paid less than that for mine and mine were like new.

Check eBay right now and you will find that works triple rates w/rezzies can be had brand new for about $480.00. That additional $100.00 is worth the peace of mind and proper setup for your weight and riding style IMHO. Also check the the exriders sponsor C&D Racing I believe that they have a similar price list. Give them a call the number is @ the top in the flashing banner.
