Old school resurrection

Gotta 87 I'm getting ready to bring back to life. It was supposedly drag raced and motor seems to run damn good. although it was smoking a bit more on one cylinder which I am assuming is carb issues. at first glance it looked like it had fresh synthetic in it but I just discovered it has fuel in the bottom end, is this normal? I'm guessing no:ermm:

U will have fuel in the bottom of the crankcase but you should not have fuel in the transmission. The fuel goes into your crankcase and comes back up into the topend.

Yes that totally makes sense but I guess I shoulda been more specific. I guess what I checked was the transmission when I pull the dipstick I got fuel in my oil. Obviously thats bad. Sorry for being an idiot:rolleyes:
