This bought a frame and a few big boxes full of 250r parts off of craigslist about 2 months back. I mean I got allot of stuff for only $350 bucks from this guy. Enough for one bike for sure I thought. I'm putting together an 86/87 bike and take a look at these pictures and see if these look like some TRX 250R swing- arms to you. (I'm now guessing it might have not been such a great deal)

I had a hell of a time putting the bearing in, hard time bolting it up to my frame, and now I can't get my shock linkage to bolt up!

Here are a couple of 88/89 I haven't even tried yet but now that I've took a closer look at them they look to be 400ex. Man I hate getting screwed.

Top picture looks like a 450r swing arm. If it is it will work with 86 frame but you need some of the 450r linkage.

Wring the first one is a 400ex the second is 88/89 stock and the third is 88/89 TT I'll bet my lunch money on that.

Yea I believe the first one is either a 400ex or a 450R swingarm. Thats def. not a 250R swinger. The One with the prodesign sticker is a 250R Swingarm. The third looks to be a shortened swingarm for TT.

Im with will when I first saw it the first thought that popped into my head was thats a 450r swingarm ...The aluminum bulky looking one is the stock 250r...And I would agree again on that 3rd swinger being a lonestar tt swing arm. That's why its shorter has a no link shock and has all the stars cut out of it cause in tt you shave weight anyway possible...

You can tell the first one is a 400ex by the chain slider on the front

x2. Same length as 04-05 450 swingers if you decide to try to use it with 450 linkage.

First one for sure is not a 450R swingarm, there are a few differences that I can see. Never seen a 400ex arm, but I will go with the others and say that is what it is.

aluminum bulky looking one looks to be pretty well beat up. if you look it has weld marks every place on it. (Look up towards the top where it bolts up to the frame. thats welded too.)
