what is the cdi? do you mean the icm (ignition control module) the black box under the front plastic and head lights?

Ok im watching one on ebay from a 2000 so it should work but if i dont get it tonight i will let you know mike...how much you askin for it?

99-04 is same, 05+ is different and will not work on older stuff.

I've tried it and I've also tried using the 05+ on the 04- and it wouldn't start but it did do something to it that now I have no reverse rev limiter. Kinda wierd but it don't both me... I can go 30mph in reverse :D
