Hey guys
I recently had my front sprocket round off the splines of the it sits on for the shaft coming out of the motor.
I just got done replacing the shaft and put a new sprocket on and it seems like there is alot of movement from left to right where the sprocket sits on the shaft. I am able to slide the sprocket back and forth on the shaft even with the retaining washer is installed. Is this normal? I am wanting to prevent this from happening again.
The shaft that I rounded had the failure happen at the very end of the shaft and the edge of the sprocket splines almost as if the sprocket had slid to the edge of the shaft and was barley sitting on the splines.
Any advice to what I have going on would be great! I want to keep this from happening again. Thanks!
