That's my very first real buck. I got it standing on a clump with my mom and the rest of our group was doing a push. This and a like 10point busted out across a big field going uphill and i had my crosshairs on the 10point, pulled the trigger and click. safety was on ): i woulda had it if it wasnt for that. then i took the safety off, pulled up, saw brown and shot. i actually thought it was a doe. my moms like you shot the doe! im wtf! and clipped another one off at the big one then let my mom go to town on it. no one got it. i got up there, saw it had horns and im like well ill be damned. i actually had to shoot it 3 times before it died. blew the rear leg off, gut shot it, and one through the lungs. i miss having dad gut my deer out, i guess 13s old enough and got it was the worst experience ever! my dad and my uncle are laughing there *** off while im gutting this thing out. wasnt my first though. first gut shot gut out. ill try and find pics of my very first deer.

I see alot of deer where we ride, and that's a dozn atvs and sxs's riding. If does are there bucks will be. Is check around and make sure there is plenty of food in the woods,ie acorns, fields close by.

Thats just what my dad said cuz he don't ride fourwheeler. The population of deer in door country wisconsin has been going down and thats probobly why I don't see as many.

My 2011 buck that's already back from the taxidermist. Gross score: 172". Those browtines are 8.5" btw.

I missed this buck 2 years ago thanks to a scope that was out about 10" high at 100 yards. I didn't make the same mistake twice this year when he tried to get across the cutline @ 80 yards.

November 5th was the first time I saw this buck and started coming through the corn to my grunts. He came within 50 yds and as soon as he saw my decoy he bolted. I decided to sit in the same area on opening day hoping to see him again. At 3:15pm I got redemption! He was the only deer I saw all day under 250 yards. The body on this buck is tiny, everyone that has seen him thinks he is only two and a half years old. I will be sending his teeth out to be cut and aged.
