new 400ex plastic on the 450r?

The new 400ex plastic looks super sick. Just curiuos how close it is to fitting a 450r? anybody have a newer, like 09+ 400 and 450r?

I just think the new 400 plastic is pretty sick looking and might look into it a little.

The new 400 plastic does look sweet.

If you think about it, its kinda like a mix between the LTR and YFZ plastic.

Im predicting they put something like this style of plastic on the new 450R IF it ever comes out..

I think it's a sick look and all but the 450r plastic is a lot less restrictive and much narrower through the seat. I don't know what everyone else rides but when it comes to motocross the bulkier 400 plastic is a bit of pain and same can be said for the larger seat. I also personally prefer the look of the 450r a little better actually. I think it's smooth and simple looking, I'm not a fan of the overly complicated look and sharp edges.

Actually Rohr, the 08+ 400exs feel like 450s. The tank is very slim as is the seat they changed the tank and seat to, just not plastics. thank god my 400ex tank is wideeee

It's still a little too wide for my taste, maybe not so much in the front but in the back. I like that on the 450r the seat is small and narrow so that you can use the seat and rear fenders to move around more. Additionally the gas tank is a little taller on the 400ex which is also a bit annoying for me. At least on the old 400's the plastic is so simple that you can slide around from front to back. I can't say that side to side leaning is any better but it's doable.
