New plastics for an older quad

Can anyone tell me if there is a kit to make the new style plastics fit an 05frame? I hear yes and no. Do I HAVE to buy a news eat and tank to make it work? Buying 2005 black plastics has been an expensive nightmare!!

There is no "kit" available, but its not a super hard swap. Yes you will need the newer tank and seat also.

You will need to add to the existing front seat tabs, move the rear seat cushions closer together, and fab up 2 little tabs for the side mount on rear plastic. The front mounts you can make or if you get new Maier plasitc they come with brackets that bolt right where the old "wire type" front plast mount was
