It's been over a month since I've ridden because of this darn injury. I am absolutely losing my mind and I need to do something riding related. I've been working on my 400ex and was wondering if anyone knew of little mods and what-not that don't require any extra parts, like anything. I tore the whole quad down and cleaned it by hand already, polished everything and now I'm out of ideas :/ I gotta do something to keep busy, anyone got ideas? :huh

Take the exhaust off and grind down the weld on the inside.

I have never done it but you could take the choke off the carb it makes it flow better or something.....Just a sugestion lol :)

They did that too haha, bored the carburetor and everything, but I might just run through everything and make sure it's all in order, that's a good thought.

I'm about in the same boat (except for the injury), and I'm going insane not being able to ride my wheeler either. It's been getting in to the high 60s the last few days and its about to dry up all the water and snow thats been on the ground. I've been trying to do small little things on it that I might have forgot or might want to do later on, but I've ran out of ideas. It sucks.

It's been about 2 months since I rode it. I'm gunna be tempted to jump on my dads rancher and ride it if I can't get mine put together soon, lol

1 grease muffler bearings
2 headlight oil level
3 lube the tires
4 check the wire harness for leaks
5 check the clearance on handlebar grips
6 wax seat
7 most of all release the pressure on those pesky head studs

That,s all I can think of right now

prime then paint the rims, paint engine, make a oil cooler guard like me haha, raise the airbox widen the subframe, space the exhaust
