Anybody have any input? My thought on this is just find some tech 8's or somthing that would fit my girlfriend or has anybody had any luck finding a good "women's" boot

Find a set of used ones on ebay, That way you dont have to dump too much into them if APS tech 8's are wanted.
IIRC Fox made a womens boot. That or get her the 50/50 boots. They have great foot and ankle support just no shin, But if your on a quad IMO its not as necessary or buy shin guards from wal mart soccer section.

stiff, but she didn't mid them once she got used to them. never did ride enough to actually break them in.

no, shes going to keep her riding gear and ride mine if she gets the urge. besides they're a womens 11 lol.

they were less than $100 new.

Lol nice. Colette is plannin on doing the same thing.... But then I never get to ride lol. Bout to start lookin for another quad

I have Astars' stella boots and they rock. super comfortable, move well, easy to get used to. I'd never had boots until I got them about 5 years ago and they're still in awesome shape. We ride quite a bit too.

my mom wears a sidi street sort of cross over boot, seems to work good in the dunes and trails but she doesnt race or anything.
