I have one of these motors that's locked up. I am not eager to part it out but what are you offering for the stator?

my side cover is chain damaged and jb welded.
.
I do have a 300ex side cover that will fit You'll need to plug the starter hole with something though.

Still have the complete motor? If the 250X stator cover is trashed, it won't do, but I would need the clutch cover with every thing related to the kick starter. Let me know what you have.

Thanks for getting back to me!

Its still together. Its my fault it locked I belive it to be a 86 model .
It ran good but smoked a bit when i got it. I rode the heck out of it for about to years . then one druken night I got it stuck and was hit the rev limit hard and it burnt the oil out. when i got it unstuck and drove back to camp it was ticking pretty bad .

I put it away for a few months , then let my friend ride it on my Bday(refilled oil) wile I rode my 98 300ex . we were puttin through trails when it stalled and locked. so I don't think it shattered.
make an offer for the whole or bottem end.
.
kicker parts are fine . gear shifter is welded on. clutch was working good.

the shifter drum shifted funny but good to me. it seemed to go from 1st to 2nd before it clicked then click into 3rd
.
Once I got used to it I could go form 1st to 3rd very quick. It was a beast on the trails with 12/41 gears on 22" rear tires.
