450r rear shock setup

i know the swing arms are the same length, so what im wondering is can i just take my stock rear shock and linkages off my 05 450r and put them on my 400ex?

i run the stock swing arms on the 450r r and the 400ex.

just to clarify


i have the 400ex sstock swing arm on the 400ex and the 05 450r swingarm on the 450r.

i am wanting to just swap the shock setup if possible.

Linkages wont work properly.

Shock will fit, no benefit at all.

what is the stock length on the 400ex dog bone lik on the rear? eye to eye, cause a nimrod put an adjustable one on the one i have and i dont know what the stock length is. i know i can adjust it to be the stock length and it would be the same a a stock one.

From eye center to eye center I have 6in and 5/16ths on a stock 400ex dog bone.

I have stock one right here cause I have a adjustable one on mine...lol.
