I mentioned it to my brother tonight, we might make up there. As you said, there aren't a lot of venues in this area so it's important that we support the ones that are available.

I think this is going to be our next over night trip. The neareast camp groud listed is in Mt. Pocono about 33 minutes away. Do you know if they allow over night campers in the parking lot? We don't need hook ups for a short trip.

Marc and Lonnie are you guys at all intrested in checking this event out?

WalMart in Dickson City, PA allows overnight camping. Lost Trails with insurance etc can not have anyone stay over. Thanks - JT

JT thanks for the call back it was great speaking with you. They are limiting tickets to 200 total and about 1/2 are gone.

I am going to check out thier site tonight.
They run trips out west. The load up a semi with your toys and luggage and you fly light weight. They are running a trip to Utah in Sept. and it $600 per machine for round trip frieght. Even if we can't make Utah there is definately a quadtrip in my future with this group.

IDK JT every review for this place was pretty much the same and not favorable for sport quad riders like me. There is still a chance we might make it up there (depending on family plans) but either way I do see a trip out west in my future.

The only person I can get to make the trip with me is riding a dirt bike. I hear these trails are better suited for quads (4x's at that ) but will he be able to access all of the trails required for the poker run?

Is it a big deal to be on time or no biggie if we show up at 10am or so?

I think we are coming and we might even grab a room nearby Saturday night so we don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to get there on time. I will look you up once we get there so you can tell me all about this free trip/freight I'm planning on winning. ;)

Any sport quad riders attend this event that could comment on how rough the trails were. Would like to head up there soon but not if it's as bad as everyone says.

It was far worse then I expected and it was like skiing @ Hunter Mt. or going to Dorney Park.

Translation = NYC

By far the most ignorant & impatient riders I have ever shared a trail with. Just about got run over heading back to the parking lot because nobody can wait while a Dad escorts his son in a go kart safely back to camp.

The people that work there are very very nice but I will not be going back there any time soon.

yea unfortunately thats how i figured it would be and y we had no interest in paying to go ride somewhere just outside a city when we can pay for fuel only and ride in total seclusion in our area.that place is for people who really have nowhere else to go.lots of hype for blah.sorry to hear it tho man.it sucks when you have a souring experience like that.
