Seal on the side of the engine????

The seal on the side of my 300ex is leaking a little bit of oil is it a real problem or is it where i put to much oil in my engine. please help???

you may have put too much oil in it and blew the seal. i dont know what seal you are talking about because i dont have a 300ex, but that may be what happened. you should check it out.

i guess you are talking about the camshaft seal on the top right side of the cylinder head. Take the valve cover off and buy some silicone sealant and coat it in that and it will never leak again. I did it on my 300 and it worked great.:)
