on my rm125 i cannot seem to get the clutch adjusted right. either it slips or will not disengage all the way. could anyone help me out?

If your friction plastes are worn, it will do that.

Thats when i knew it was time to replace my clutch.

okay thats pretty easy then. and if the basket has grooves can i file them down? and what kind of file?

yes you can use a flat file to file down the groves..... but remember this is a quick fix that dosent last long.. if groves are bad its best to buy a new basket

my yz did that 3 times once from a bad basket and another time from bad oil making the plates stick together and not seperate right and another time from the basket nut being loose.

Ive been using valvoline motor oil il the bottom end maybe thats the problem?

If I was you I would take the clutch cover or side case off how ever that engine is and take a look and pull the clutch in and out and see how the plates are moving.

I just pulled the cover and apparently the moron before me didnt wanna put one spring and bolt on so looks like ill order one and hope it all works. The basket looks new tho!!! So thats a plus:)

Okay i had an extra spring and bolt from my other rm125 and the fcking hole is stripped!!! Arghhhh
