Okay, I need to know if a 2005 or 2006 gas tank will fit on a 2007 Honda 300ex? Mine has a small leak and the new ones are almost $500. I can find a 2005 & 2006, I just can't find one for a 2007. Please only answer if you know 100% . The part numbers are different, but they look the same in all the pictures I see. Any help would be appreciated.
If anyone does have a gas tank that will fit an 07' Honda 300, let me know. I need one. Also looking for white rear plastic too. Thanks!

I think the older will work. We converted our older chassis to the newer plastic while still using the older tank.

my expereince with a clarke aftermarket tank.
it will fit on an 07, its not exactly perfect but will fit.
You then have to run a +2 steering stem or it will hit the tank.
100% for sure.

I guess I should have mentioned that too. We also have a Clarke tank but we still have a stock stem, clears fine on ours...

my frame was an 07
what year frame do you have?
I had a brand new +1 JB stem and it would not clear. Had to use the +2

Ahh, gotcha. The pic is a 1987 TRX250X stock frame and steering stem. Wanna sell the +1 JB stem?
BTW- does that bumper look familiar to you John? Thanks again!
