Powdercoat opinions

I have a red and black 400ex and I plan on keeping it that way or maybe later on going with silver plastic.. Im gonna get the frame powdercoated black but i dno whether I should PC the swing arm black too... Or do red.. Any pictures or opinions would help! thanks, Steve

here's my gloss black flame with lots of flake and a gloss black swinger. this picture has been posted in many places, but it should help give you an idea. lower a arms and most little things like the brake stay are metallic red.

edit: the subframe is semi gloss black. i've been meaning to change it to match the frame, no time or money.

That looks good and a sweet looking quad.. But Im gonna paint some of the smaller things red by myself.. So i Think that a red swingarm would stick out a lot

You mean like this? My a-arms are gunna be black. I thought about doing my swinger red, but I prefer black over red.

EXACTLY lol. is the red stuff PC or paint? and I do like the black swingarm.. Still think red would look sweet haha

Everything is PC with clear over it EXCEPT for the oil tank and cooler, rear brake caliper and swinger, which is auto body paint with clear over it.

Did you put the clear coat over the PC or did your powdercoater? And what kind of automotive pant? I wanna get my swingarm and Frame powdercoated black and paint the little parts..

The powder coater put the clear over the frame and everything that is PC'd. I can't remember what kind of paint it was, but I know it was some kind of Dupont auto paint. We also used some of my friends clear that he had, but it dented really easy.
