Hey guys i am in the slow process of fixing up an old 250R. it has white OEM plastic on it. They are very solid but they look horrible. They have like a weathered film all over them like it has set outside or something. I am ale to scrape it off with a plastic puddy knife but it would take forever. Has anyone ever used scotch brite and soapy water on plastic. I dont think the scotch brite would scuff it up too bad. Than maybe use some kind of platic polis compound?? any suggestions are appreciated guys.

I find that Mothers brand aluminum and mag wheel polish works real good. Stuff works great on dull headlights to.

My daughter has white plastic...and although it doesn't take all the staining out...I find that using Softscrub with bleach on them. Cleans them up nicely. You can find it in the kitchen cleaner section. Buy the paste in the bottle...not gel. It's worth a try for you.

Good luck.
