I have an 88 r frame and love hybrids is it possible to convert an actual r frame to allow the Yamaha or Honda engine of so which is the lesser of the 2 evils to put in??? I know there are 250r based hybrids don't know alot about them and need some help of that can be done short of buying a 2 grand frame thts already done thanks guys!!

The stock frame even if converted motor mounts etc would never ride like a hybrid due to updates like No-Link or CR500 Link rear ends. And Long Travel front ends and even better narrow front ends!
Do not waste money and time converting a stocker.......

Pick up a Laeger or Walsh

And please dont destroy a 250r frame, if your lookin to do a cheaper hybrid use a 400ex

No worries now that I know more I won't I do have a 400ex frame tho but would would be different other than cheaper handling wise from a 400ex to a Walsh leager hybrid frame other than it prolly handles alot better what are pros and cons like to build one
