Carburator Issue

Hey Guys!!! I have ann 04 450R and have been having some issues with my Carb for awile...It seems to have a cold or something...It chokes and dies out....kinda sound like an air issue from the sounds of it. Cleaned the card out several times,changed the plug.still same thing... I have a Full system HMF exhast system on it..HRC kit with half air box lid...Have to check but i think i have a stock pilot jet and 180 main... I live in ohio and for the elevation thats what i was told to use and go from... Seems to only do it at slow or idle speeds..runs fine every where else. New carb? change jets? any ideas...

The first thing I would check is the plunger for the hotstart. It tends to become corroded over time, causing issues.

That's on the carb itself right. Not the cable. I have cleaned and tested while off the bike and everything seems to be working fine. it seems to release just fine so I don't think that would be my issue
