Washing mx jerseys?

They say wash on cold and air dry which is how I always washed them. But why do they need to be washed in cold water and can't go in a dryer? I always thought it was because they would shrink but mx shirts are made from polyester and polyester don't shrink so why does it say to wash and dry them that way on the tags? :confused:

Cold water and air drying them keeps the colors from bleeding and fading, and keeps any padding from falling apart.
You can wash them in cold, and put them in the dryer on the 'delicates' setting, you should be good to go.
BTW, I learned this from my wife after my jerseys would only last a few months!

^Ditto. I wash mine on cold then dry on delicate and they still come out damp. Then I just hang them to let them air dry the rest of the way.
