So we upgraded from stock suspension, and we are not racers, but trail riders, and backyard fun kind of people. Is there anything cheap that will give this little 90 some more pep? CDI upgrade, carb and exhaust upgrade?

Thanks for your help! :D http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150502661381429&set=a.10150501535476429.375140.673716428&type=1&theater

I just posted this up on another thread but look at the Lifan engines on ebay, you can get a 125 with a semi auto trans or with a clutch and carb for around $200, more CC's means more power, the 90 is OK if you ride around the block but you need more power for the trails and the dunes, this engine is supposed to be a bolt in on the trx90 quad, and I'm just about to pull the trigger on one, Steve

Be carefull with some of the "china" motors. Alot of them like to shift irratically, like your in 3rd gear and you want to downshift to 2nd but it rolls all of the way down to 1st gear causing an over-rev...

I know its alot more work and a lil more $$, but I would recommend a 114cc kit with a "race" head. You will gain a lot but maintain the Honda reliability. Get a aftermarket pipe, xr80 carb, port your stock intake, and you can retain the airbox too... if you go with something like the 114cc kit.

If you dont want to get real "involved" hit up Terry @ Firepower minis, he can set you up very reasonable
