by looking at your sig for your 05 there is no reason for more RPM, all your going to do is punish your valve train and it will bite you in the *** some time in the future, if you don't have a cam in your 05 the best thing to do is "short shift" it and let the engines torque do what is designed to do

I do have a cam and piston and valves. And Carb and getting to send my head off to be port and polished and some more work. I just don't post what all is done on my engine in my signature. Alot more parts I'm missing on my signature but thanks for input

I know they have a bad rep but I have a procom in my '04 with an HRC cam. I bought it used for 25 or 30 bucks almost 2 years ago and haven't had any issue with it yet... Cheap and extra rpm's so I can't complain.

what cam do you have ? is it a cam that makes power past the stock redline, if not there is no need to spin it that high, but whatever, get your "port and polished" LOL, and rev it to the moon

If my memory serves me right the stock RL is at 9500, depends on your cam, but some motors are still making power at that point, some motors the power drops before that, on my 06 at 9500rpm (give or take) it was still making good power so it made sense to up the rev ceiling. If your power drops off before that RL there is absolutely no point in upping it

if you decid to up it,10500rpm is all you ever need, and it keeps things decently safe (its a race quad your going to have to do valves and all that at some point)

with that said I have tokyo mods ignition and love it, 11 map choices including stock, switch on the fly

crf ignition x2
Its so responsive after that with the crf flywheel and ignition, it does stall a little easier so just dont stall it.lol
