I am going to be installing my graphic kit this weekend and wanted to fill in the "holes" on the side plastic part that covers the gas tank so its smooth has any one done this before? I am just wondering what material I can use that it will still be slightly flexible I was thinking a 5Min glue of some type? mayvbe even fiberglass resign?

I got a set of newer side panels without dimples you could have for 20+ship if you want.

Otherwise filling them in with some form of bondo or epoxy I think would work best.

I'm also getting my graphics this week too. I don't really plan on using newer side panels for my graphics, other then looks is there any reason to do the switch? I've been waiting forever for these graphics, so I want to make sure they go on good. Thanks

Thanks The only reason to have them is so your graphics stick to them better since they are a solid flat surface, compared to the dimples all over them.

My gfx work with the older dimpled side panels in that they dont cover that area.

If you want the gfx to stick to the side panels Id find the newer type. They can easily be had on ebay, thats where I got the ones I sold.

Alright then I'll keep my eye on eBay, I actually looked and couldn't find any which is why I posted this question. Extremely tight budget and waaaay too much to replace :/ gotta go the cheapest route!

"400ex side panel" that should bring it up.

not sure how I didn't think to type that in (facepalm moment), lol thanks, seems to return better results then "400ex plastics"
