Well, I am to the point of powder coating most of the parts on my 2007 Honda 400 trx ex black/red. I was just wanted to know how much powder coat I would need to get, and was wondering if people had any pictures of the different assortments of powdercoating on this quad

I may be wrong..but I don't think you can just "buy" powder coat. You need to have a powder coater do it.

as long as you have a powder coating gun and an oven to cure you can buy powder and do it.

I just need to know how much powder to buy because my powder coater said it is cheaper to buy it and give it to him

Once you have baked powder coat in an oven you aren't supposed to use it for cooking again. Just a little FYI. Go to an appliance store or get in craigslist and you should be able to pick up a working electric stove for around $100 or less.

Your powder coating guy should be able to give you an estimate. You haven't even told us what you are having powder coated. Kinda makes it hard to guess.

IIm powdercoating the whole frame, a-arms, and subframe. I just wanted to know how much other people have used to make sure his estimate is right. His estimate was four pounds

You won't need anywhere near that much 2 pounds and you will have leftovers.
