If anyone needs any advise on an engine builder please look at the AMA EDT National points standings for 2011 in Schoolboy JR & SR classes for proof. rider Tyler Deister #6

Rage built us a reliable powertrain that got us National Championships in (both) Schoolboy classes.

Rage can build you a 2 valve engine that can compete and will beat some of the best Honda 300ex's out there. This engine combined with a good chassis and a good rider will get you results.

2011 results Schoolboy JR EDT National series 8 main starts 8 podiums including 2 wins.
Schoolboy Senior EDT National series 8 starts 7 podiums and 1 win. the non podium event resulted in a 4th place finish. this included a female guest rider at the last round.

ZERO DNF's and never a engine issue 2 seasons in a row!

X3, Dee did our's for us and other than adjusting the valves once and changing the oil every race, we never had to touch it, and that is a fact that his little 250 engines will run with some of the best 300's.

Does anyone know where I could buy a Rage motor? I just had my sons motor Dyno'd and it's at 19.9 hp. I imagine that the Rage 250 would be quite a bit higher than that.

Also, what does it cost to have them do their magic to a motor? I guess I could send ours in between races, but that makes me a bit nervous.

Ours did dyno right around 34Hp, Dee made some changes to iit and I will be re-dynoing it at the beginning of March and will let you know. Give Dee and Michele a call, they are the nicest people you will talk to, I did alot of calling around last year before we got ours done, and as soon as I talked to them I knew thats who was getting it. AWSOME people......

Holy *&^% 34 hp! That must be a 300cc big bore. We're limited to 250cc and air cooled in the raptor class for WORCS. I'll call Dee and see what they can do. Thanks for the advice.

Yea we run the ATVA and we run with the 300's in the schoolboy Jr. class so we are allowed 300cc, ours in in the 290's not sure of the exact cc's but know its in the 290's
