well i just bought myself another 450r. i got it for a steal, $1600.
When i bought it it didnt have any spark so i didnt get to take it for a ride or anything. after i got the spark figured out i tried kicking it over and all it did was pop a little bit and wouldnt even try to fire. so i checked timing and it was one tooth off. got it all retimed and now it does start and run. but as soon as i rev it up just a little, it vibrates really bad. this motor was supposedly rebuilt but he doesnt know what parts. so my question is, could this be a tweaked crank or something? or an unbalanced crank? ive had it before where the key for the counter balancer fell out but that was a much worse vibration.

sorry for the long post, just want to make sure all the info is there!

The first thing I would check is the marks on the counter-balancer.

Ok. Ill make sure i check that. The counter balancer is on the clutch side right? I have to replace the clutch cover gasket anyway.
