I recently bought a 06 450r and have been going through it checking things out. I noticed when I picked up on the subframe, I could pick up a little bit of the subframe, and then the tires would lift off the ground. Almost like theres play in somthing or its loose, but I tightened all the linkage bolts, and rear shock bolts and thats not it. what could this be? A friend said it was the swing arm linkage bushings.

It has a walsh swingarm and fox podium x rear shock if this matters. If it is indeed the bushings, do I have to buy walsh bushings, or will and brand work?

Check all four corners where the sub mounts to the frame. I bet one or more of those areas are egged out from the bolts coming loose.

This. They are notorious for coming loose.
