just wanted to say hell'o to everyone, been out of quads for a while, but i'm getting ready to dust of my ds 730, and prep her for one more round, soon as the weather warms up. anyone else still riding 650's

Have the equivalent of probably two and a half.
One fully done 730, a rolling chassis/parts bike, and an 800 that I stuck in a drag frame. And with the drag bike, a couple mismatched / spare top ends.
Good stuff, not many of us on here though unfortunately

I see you have a 450 axle, are those interchangeable or did you have to do some customization?

i have a aftermarket swingarm, and the rotor is close to hitting , so i dont know if stock would work. i may shim the brake side bearing out a little if they wear to make sure the dust shield clears, but its not a problem now. i use honda rims just have to use the 650 lug nuts.

I've got convertible hubs so I can run Honda or DS wheels, but I'm curious about the axle since the 450 one is probably much lighter

everything is lighter, hubs sprocket , brake, if i would have bought it from lonestar i would have gotten one that was gun drilled. but i picked up mine from e-bay for cheap and it was new. so no complaints.
