I've got a 11:1 piston with ported and polished head. I can't decide what would be best.

I am running a stg3 in my 440.. I have no issues with it in the woods, the power is there for sure.. Stay with 450's with out a issue.. Today riding, I was beating on a yzf450 a shee, trx450, kfx700 in all the strait line runs.. If all you do is woods ride, a stg 2 might be better to consider.. If your looking to go with hard faced rockers, new springs then a web, magnum, ect cam might work better and perhaps give you more power.. All in all the stg 2 or 3 is a great cam, lets you retain stock valve train

I agree with Thumpinex440. I run a Stage 2Hotcam and mine pulls hard starting in the mid range. Great for riding in the mountains where you hit a switchback and nail the throttle to shoot up the mountain.
