05 450r jetting starting point?

building 05 450r for this season. put stock crank in, using 96mm piston, have hrc kit(cam, needle, lid), sparks exhaust and stock air filter. just wondering if anyone else is running similar setup. sparks website says 190 main, 2 turns on a/f screw, 3rd clip on needle, at about sea level. i am at about 800ft. above sea level. i was thinking 185 main as a starting point. anybody running anything close?

You might end up going bigger on your pilot jet as far as main i would start with 190 work down so you dont run your motor lean. Also the stock filter will slow you down if it was me i would run a uni or k&n + outer ware.

i rethought and already did what you suggested. put in the 190 and a uni filter. sparks recommends stock pilot with 2 turns on the a/f screw. still waiting on some odds and ends parts, but hopefully will get to start in the next week and see how close we are. thanks for the reply.
