Has anybody ever tried the ITP Holeshot GNCC Fronts? It's either that or 21" razrs are on sale which one would be better. And I know this is gonna sound dumb but is the price on there for both tires or just for one? Thanks.

Oh indeed thats for just one tire... Things are INSANELY $$

Honestly I know some who run the holeshots, but many, many more run razrs. Ive never been a fan of the holeshots myself, but cant say I did much more than try them on a buddies quad a few times. For what its worth I run razr 2 fronts and they handle ANYTHING I ever have thrown at them. Regretting I didnt run the razr 2 fronts and razr rear combo I was going to go with-instead I bought some kenda klaws which I suck.

The Razr 22" 6 ply is on sale at motospot for 44% off, only problem is that it might cost me that much back just to ship it and for border charges and duties to get it here. :(

Ya know, dealers can order you tires. After all the bs with shipping and such I bet its cheaper overall.

ok so now i found the razrs in Canada for $100 each and it wont cost me much for shipping. now the question is 22" in 4 ply or 21" in 6. What's the benifit of having smaller fronts anyways? Lower centre of gravity?

Slightly less ground clearance and perhaps slightly better COG. I wouldnt bother with a 4 ply unless your racing mx anyways, I run 6 ply period and have never had a flat-even riding in rocks.

I run 4 ply and im usually just fine, havnt had a flat yet. But i keep alot of my trails somewhat groomed.

Ya I think I'm going with 6 ply, I wish they had 22 in 6 so I could have better clearance but that's alright. I break trail like everyday too so 6 is probably a better choice. Thanks guys.

Ditch the stupid razrs, handling is poor. Buy some GBC XREX. Alot cheaper then the Rzr2 and its the same exact thing. Plus they come in 6ply 22's

No doubting GBC are cheaper, but to say razrs handle poorly is ridiculous. A quick glance at any of the afternoon lines at GNCC races will tell you that. I won't run anything else.

Scro, im referring to razr fronts, no doubt the backs hook up well, but the front razrs are trash. They cannot handle in mud. Rzr2 fronts, and Xrex fronts handle the best. But u cant beat GBC prices.

In that case, I completely agree. :D

Anybody ever heard of Traxion Race-X? They're the same as Razr 2 but they're only $80 per tire instead of where I found $125 a tire for razr 2.

I only run Kenda kutter 20x11-9 rears and kenda klaw fronts BEST tires in my opinion and there only76 dollars from rocky mountain.

Ebay would be cheapest, but type in "atv tires" and change the settings to only Canada and nothing good comes up. It would cost me over $160 to ship tires here and at least another $70 at the boarder.

Yeah I think that's what I'm doing. I can't see how they'd be any different than the razr 2.

tire combos i suggest

Front: rzr 2
rear: rzr

Front: GNCC
rear: quadcross XC

Front: GBC Xrex
rear: GBC Race Rex

There a several HIGHLY underrated tires out there also, such as

Dunop KT378A rear tires are AMAZING traction wise.. But Since Dunlop thinks there tires are made of gold, they are like $100 a piece.

Kenda K535 Knarly XC are also awesome for traction. Kenda is just a underrated tire. I havent had any experience with any other kenda tire then these but just from me having this rear on my quad it seems like they hooked up awesome.

I have had alot of tires since every quad i have bought came with a different set of tires everytime, but i will say... now that i have had RZR2 fronts i wont ever have a different set of fronts.

The razr rears are good traction wise but they are also really soft, so they wear down fairly fast. My buddy usually gets about 3/4 of a year out of his razrs, but he also races alot.. I will probably have the ITP quadcross XC as my next rear tire because i want to try them out and Adam McGill runs them
:D

Up to you! Just my input to it.

That way you can support a local business in your local economy. It is a win win!

Yeah this is true, but I will have to drive 1/2 to a decent local dealer. One always gives me the wrong parts for way too much money and wont take them back, and it takes forever for them to arrive. And the other one says they can't get tires, unless they're stock kawisakis.

dxcody.. Thoes GBC race rex rears will tear soo easy its unreal. But they are an amazing tire. if u run Tireballs with the racerex, there close to the best tire i know of. But if u cant afford the tireballs, run the Xrex

I have never owned Race Rex tires, i just rode my friends quad who had them and i loved the traction of them. Since they dont really have any side bite they slid a little too much in my opinion.

I didnt know that they tore easy. Good to know though for when i buy tires! Thanks!
