I drive in the gcc serius in germany, which kind of big bore kit is the best for the honda trx450r?

with hot rot camshaft stage 2 or 3 and crankshaft +3mm.

What do you think about this:

I think both of those are CW kits (CW is part of hotcams/hotrod). I wouldn't buy the first one for sure... 06+ TRX have a shorter stroke than the 04/05 and don't work as well as the stroker 04/05's. Dropping that much $$ on an ebay kit is big no no for me..
Go with Sparks http://www.alwaysopenmall.com/layouts/02/unsecure/lu_item_groups.asp?SiteID=223&SideTab=&DepartmentID=85&CategoryID=948

Or JSR http://www.bigboremotors.com/ if you actually want quality parts..

You'll pay more...but you'll get quality and with that come reliability. Athena a good option too..

do you have any head or carb work yet? there are huge gains to be had in those area's before i would do a big bore or stroker. Going big bore and stroking a stock head and carb setup is pointless...And im also curious to why you need that much power for GNCC? seems kinda pointless

Looks like your bike is an 06+ . I use a trinity 500 kit. Love it.

thanks for your answer.

No, my head is original and my carb too. I drive atv since 3 years and the power is deficient in strength. At the beginning is was ok, but now, it´s to little. I´m in the 5th gear and I m think: hello!!?? power?!

Last year i had a engine damage, here I had a high piston and cab. but now its original.

honda trx450r is the best atv.

Yes, it´s a 2006. cool, I see the trinity kit. Do you drive in a race series? The cylinder works kit with crankshaft and camshaft have 500ccm too, but I don´t now what is the best for me.

thanks

you should really look into having the head ported with a quality valve job and a carb bore before you bother with the big bore. You're not going to use the big bore to its full potential with a stock head, big bore's like oversized valves too.

we have ported the head and make vlave and carb, but the power is not enough. After one seasion the engine is rebuild and overhauled. What is your problem with a big bore kit? One season: new engine

I make a athena big bore kit with crankshaft +3 and a stage 2 camshaft and i have 510cc and after the season all new.

What do you have in your engine? Do you ride by any races?

thanks

yes I race in many series. if it is just more power you want.. then get a really good cam you will notice tons more.
