Fender and Gas Tank Compatibility Between Years

I'm thinking about picking up an 05 450R and was wondering if the plastic and gas tank is interchangeable between years? I'm talking the completely new fenders and gas tank (not just the gas tank cover). Looking to use all red 2008 parts. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nope won't work, needs to be 04-05.

Hmm, so the mounting points are different for the gas tank and the fenders? Is nothing interchangeable or just certain plastics/gas tank?

They will work, you may need to punch some new holes, disregard my previous post lol.

I'm pretty sure the gas tanks interchange but if you are putting an 07+ tank on the 05, you'll need the 07+ fuel shut-off valve and the plastic guard thing that is under the tank.

it'll work. I like to run the smaller 08 tank on mine.
