Are the aluminum air shrouds worth the $60? Does it make a difference or more of a waste?

They def. dont hurt (more air=cooler engine) but are more for looks or a place for stickers than anything imo

If you are riding pretty fast most of time, like dune riding, I would like they would be more helpful. For tight woods riding, you're not going fast enough to generate any significant air flow.

I got the diamond plated ones on my 400ex. They didnt fit them so we had to put our own bolts and all on them but they fit decenty now.

It helps a little bit but atleast it gave me a place to put some stickers on instead of ruining the plastic! :P
