my rear brake rotor is rubbing the caliper. could this be caused by they carrier bearing being bad which would cause the axle to wobble??
if its the axle being bent then how can you tell?

jack the rear end up off the ground, start the bike, put it in gear, and watch the axle while it spins.

The calipers float. They can seize up causing that to happen.

On the side of the caliper there is a allen head bolt with a rubber thing under it. As far as I know it kind of works as a self adjuster deal so when your pads get wear it moves the caliper. That will seize up causing the rotor to rub on the side of the caliper. Dirt and water gets in there an jacks it up. I'm pretty sure that's how it works, but I might be completely wrong

Do this, and clean everything before greasing and reassembling.
