What are the advantages to having the narrow frame 250r chassis? What all is actually narrower?

The biggest advantage to a narrow frame is reduced bump steer. Typically the a-arm mounts will be moved in to create the "narrow front". The actual geometry of the front end will vary by whose frame design it is. I believe the Laeger front end is moved in 1 inch on each side.

I believe the Laeger and Walsh narrow front chassis are both moved in an inch on each side. Now the Roll Design Lobo chassis geometry is a whole different animal...

the walsh is 2 in total im almost positive, so its 1 in on each side like posted above,
if you go to walsh website they have 250R info on a-arms to get to MX width and I think they have a +3 for normal width and +4 for narrow, for the narrow frame,
just check out walsh site

Ok sounds good. Thank you. I am thinking about trying to build my own chrome moly frame for a school project and figured I would try to use the walsh dimensions.
