Well i've changed bearings probably 4 times before on this quad, but this is the first time i've tried to replace my dual row bearings. I got everything off, pulled the axle, and the carrier came out with it. When i try to work it off like the other ones, it seems to get stuck on the splines for the brake rotor etc. Am I just forgetting how much of a pain this is and need to pound it off, or is something wrong internally?

Have you got it cockeyed or can you get pushed back enough to put grease on the splines. Sounds like the inner race isn't centered to the splines.

Did you ever get it apart?

No I didn't try it yet I will today even though it's like 10 degrees here and my garage is unheated. But I think you're right about the inner race being screwed up and not making it over the splines, I'm a little worried

There is also a tube that is between the bearings that might just nee to be lined up. Take a rubber mallet and see if you can tap the carrier off.
