depends on how far your building it but a full out build the zuki will cost more

and besides why would you want to build a zuki:D

edit just saw the why, a honda is more reliable. and from what i'v seen you can get more hp outa a honda, you can find used parts easily to make the build even cheaper.

I may be the only other person but I think zuki's are ugly as sin

I'm a die heart Honda fan but I would be building something like Dustin wimmers bike it's just that the ltr had lots of smooth power throughout the rpms and aren't they the best handling 450 and I would buy all new parts and very few used and the hondas are easier to get power put of but drain your wallet in suspension

if your doing a full build suspension will cost about the same for each bike cus u still need a arms, swing arm, link, shocks for both bikes so now your down to motor cost.

I had a ltr with a 474 kit in it, cherry bomb and a hmf exhaust. was the slowest but best handling 450 Ive ever rode. If it had more power I woulda loved it but when i say slow i mean Ive rode stronger 400's.... dont know what was up with that.

Ive had 4 450r's now and they make awesome power with hardly no money in them, are pretty reliable, easy to work on and maintain and easy to find cheap parts

well if i got the ltr it would have a stage two yoshimura motor with a cp piston which is $900$

They have smooth power and you probably needed a better fuel programer because the cherrybomb is only for baffle out and airbox lid off

I just think it was time for a rebuild. It still shouldve ran alot better than it did even without a programmer. That think stuck to the ground tho I felt like i could throw it in any corner full throttle and it felt awesome jumping it

if the stage two kit comes with a piston for 900 bux that leave you with rouphly 700 bux in head work... your gana need more then that to run with built honda's

depending on the compression of the bb kit he had the cherry bomb can still be enough, programmers are for when you have high compression piston and cams otherwise they are far to rich off bottom end.

Kinda sounds like you know everything and want an ltr, so go ahead get an ltr

A buddy of mine has a built ltr and 2 or 3 built hondas. He loves the way the zuki handles but not happy with the power. He says his hondas have a whole lot more power. And from what I've seen the hondas are definately easier to build and easier to find parts for.

The stage two kit cones with porting and polished head with yoshimura cams and a cp piston

i wish zach harris would jump in here, he had two zuki's to race pro-am nationals with last year and is now moving to honda's becuase they are cheaper and more realistic at the level he races, he'll be honest with ya too

FHKracingz is his name on here

I think I'm going to just get a Honda and put ltr spindles and hubs on it
