View Full Version : Will a 450 oil cooler fit a 400

A friend jus called and said he need an oil cooler for his 400ex. I'v got 1 for a 450r. Will it work?

They're both 4 row coolers, but the frame mounts aren't the same and the angle that the engine oil lines bolt up are different. I don't think it would ever work unless you did a little fabrication to it and your oil lines. It's deff. not a bolt on and go type of deal.

a lil modding and it can work.ever used some tubing or rubber line and hose clamps?I used a tranny cooler for a compact pick up as an xtra oil cooler on mine.1 line in 1 line out.not that hard:D

He got 1 from some1 right up the steet. Thx anyway
