Help Please

I have torn my son's 2009 50 down and can not get the crank out of the left side case.(the big half) Is there a clip or something that holds it in? I don't want to force it with out knowing if something is holding it in place. I have removed the seal and can see the bearing. Thanks Rodney

I've always used alittle heat on the case itself and tapped it out with a rubber mallet

Thanks for the reply. That is what I had planned to but became gun shy before I tryed it.
