Please look I'm in serious need of HELP!!

I just got some ohlins shocks from an 02 cannondale speed. I was told they would bolt right on my 400ex. But the bushings are too big for the shock mounts and bolts. The bushings are not interchangeable on them either. I know people have done this but I want them on right. I dont want them to have play in them and move up and down. PLEASE HELP!!:(

I was going to get a pair for my R and the seller said i would have to grind down the bushings so they would fit in the stock shock mounts, i never got them but i hope this helps somehow?:confused:

I just talked to someone who has had cannondale speed shocks on a 400ex and he said I would need to have new bushings made. My dad knows a machinist so I'm gonna have him make me a sleeve that will fit in the bushing and make it small enough for my 400ex shock mounts and bolts.

or, you could grind down the bushings:D

yeah i have heard of 250R a-arms going on 400ex frames... and the bushings have to be ground a little bit. thats what i would suggest for your shocks.

Grind the bushings down
I have a set of Works triple rartes with rezzy that were made for cannondale & they are ground down & fit just fine .
