About 2 months ago i stopped quading because it was sledding season. Ever since i've been riding my sled. I decided to start my quad up because everyone on here is riding in the snow and i wanna try. So i went out to start it and it won't fire, i don't havea heated garage and its about -3C but it was like -35 a few days ago. So is that why my quad won't start? Or what else could it be? And i was wondering if i put a dab of gas in the cylinder if that will help? Because thats what i do with my sled if it's been sitting

OK.. 1st of all did you check the plug??if it's wet put new one in, & if you want to make sure it starts this time put choke half way & pull start [as last resort]!if that doesn't work start checking jets in carb[did you use any stable]????good luck....

well maybe pull start was optional that year. But chit, this is making me real mad. I think im gonna put it in my buddys heated garage for a day or so. because when i parked it she ran likea champ. and to fiddle with the jets on my 300 do i have to take off the tank ? or how do i get at the carb?

No man, i mean have some one pull you with another quad or something & dump the clutch,i did'nt mean pull start like there was a pull start on the quad....anyway let it sit in your bud's [heated ] garage see what happens before you go into the carb,it's more than likely the plug or cloged pilot jet...
