FINALLY! we've made the snow jump and it is sweet! it's in my front yard. i love jumping this thing. the first time was 3rd gear 3/4 throttle and i swear i was going 60 down the road after i jumped. i mean i took off. i was runnign around and screaming. it was the best feeling in the world!!!!! anyway, here's the pic. the jump is probably on 3 feet high but the angle and lip is perfect. my right tires are right over the ice patch. i remember lookin down and seeing it. so this is 5 feet high. i only jumped 10 long. i boosts you up though. here it is.

the suspension actually held up pretty nice. i only way 115 though. this one was the clue to tell me that i needed to rebuild the lip. landed kina hard on this one. i have some video if i find out how to hook it up.

i ride the 400 more than the 250. that is david in the background on my 250. i didn't want to kill myself jumping the 250 that high. that's suicide. that's why i'm getting my 300 soon. we're looking at some other ones now. but anyway, here's another pic. this is one of my roosts on the 400.

my tires were over the ice patch. brian is 5'9. he said my back wheels were up to his chest/neck area. that is 5 feet. 3 feet? what are you look at? i'm not getting the 400 next year, the class i run says you can double so i'm getting a 300 and modding it. i'll have the 400 when i'm 16 which is 2 years. it doesn't have too much kick. it's called preloading. as long as the lip stays, it's fine. we re-build it every 5 jumps. just throw some snow on it and pack it.

the jump was a crappy thing we build in 10 minutes. it was only about 3 feet high. i never thought i would have jumped that high. the 400's is my dads but i ride it more than he does and he's fine with that. infact, he wanst me to ride it because the 250 has the pipe on it and my neighborhood is compact so everyone hates the noise. when i was coming up to the jump, i expected it just get 3 feet. i was really suprised because i didn't know i'd jump that high. anyway, i can't wait to get some pics of the track. since i can jump better and i'll have a 300.:D

back when i had my 250ex i used to ride with a kid who had a 300ex and i liked the 250ex more, the 300ex's just dont do it for me, i would say race the 250 for a while and work up your skill on it and then get a 400ex...

the 300EX has better suspension and power than the 250. i don't feel comfortable doing doubles on my 250. you can't really work your skill up on a 250 if you want to do big 6 foot high 40 foot long doubles.:huh

how many times do i have to say this? i would LOVE to have a 400. my dad said he'd buy me one if i wanted. my class only allows up to 300 4 stroke. i want to get used to the 300. it's good if i don't want to be on the 400 because i love it now that i hate the 250. i'm not sure if i would get a 400EX though. i like to have something a little smaller and push it to it's limits. having a bigger quad has more potential that i need. that potential could get me hurt. that's why i like to go really fast on something smaller like a 250 or 300. the 250 is just plain too small. the 400 is a little more that what i need at this point. the 300 is smack in the middle. that's what i'm looking for. i can always put mods on the 300 if i need it to run faster. there were hardly ANY people that had mods for a 250. there are tons for the 300EX. i'm getting a job over the summer during the week while i'm not racing. i'll get some extra money for shocks and maybe some engine work if i need it. i talked to my dad about that today. he said get a high compression Wiesco piston, bore it over 20 hundreths, port and polish, and high performance valves maybe get the timing to work earlier and longer. we'll see. i think i am a little ahead of myself though. it'll all pull together as soon as the 250 sells.

my friend is pretty sure about getting it. he's not sure though, his mom doesn't like the idea all that much. if anyone's interested, pm me.

u should get a blaster then, they are faster, cheaper, imo cooler and they are lighter so u will jump higher, have more control in the air. and what do u know. my friend has a 2001 i thinkit is blue blaster, it is basically new. ridden about 5 times. it just sat around alot. i think he is looking for 1900.

2 of my friends have blasters and they both would take my 300 over their blasters anyday because of handling and shocks and overall power, the 300 is a lot easier to throw around in the air than the blasters plus the 300 lands a whole lot better

Uh pushing a smaller quad past its limits will get you hurt faster then if you were on a bigger quad.

Buy the 400ex. Since you ridden one before, anything less is gonna seem like a POS. Buy a 400 and wait till ur 16 to race it.

the 400 only has nerfs. my dad is getting a PowerCore4 for it. i HATE blasters. that is yamaha. they make pianos. i heard a nice tricked out 300 like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2405195173&category=6724. i'd out grow that blaster so fast. they are unreliable. there is nothing as reliable as a Honda.

Id rather get a blaster if I were you. I had one before I got my 400 and it worked great. I didnt see why eveyone said handling was bad, for me it was just different. I beat 300's and my blaster just had a port and polish that my dad did for me at his shop. It might have also had a pipe but I cant remeber. I liked it but get what ya want and have fun with it.

my cousins blaster will stay with stock 400ex until u hit 5th on the 400, hes got fmf pipe, reed spacer, reeds, wiseco piston...

Blasters are fast for a 200cc 2-stroke. They go about 55-60mph, and are able to keep up with a 400ex, but Honda is more reliable than Yamaha, although Yamaha has some of the fastest stock quads out there.

I personally love my Honda, and am getting a new one hopefully cause I've outgrown the 250. And I have riden 2 Yamahas b4 (blaster, and trinity shee:D ) but they are shakey when you get up in speed.

Exactly what I was thinking. Like I just said b4 they are fast for what they are, but they are too small.

I tried to do a wheelie (sittin-down) with a Blaster and almost fell off the back cause its soo short.

i have always liked Honda's. this 300 i'm looking at is like a dream quad. here are some pics of it. the guy lives in TN. that means i'll have to drive from PA down there. we'll see what happens though. noctice the front brake lever is bent. easy fix.

Real tipsy like a raptor also, and they wan 16 year old's and under only operating 90cc's and under... lmfao now if its hard to get on a blaster and rip around when your like 14, 15, or 16 and your pretty big person then what the heck you going to do on a 90?
