the year, 1983, the class, 250 Pro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ0PuvGfSws&feature=related

In this race, no less then 10 fulltime paid factory riders. Last I heard the quad pro class can't even fill the gate.

Want me to dig up more from the more popular years ;)

You can call it whatever you want but it doesn't make it so.

As you are looking through these photo's you'll notice something else...250cc, 330cc, and 500cc TWO stroke competing against 450 FOUR strokes...No whining about 2 vs 4 or 450 having to big of an advantage against 250 smokers. We settle it on the track, and if the factories don't make it...we do. How many threads are on here whining abouth those very same issue's

Thanks, That is Eric Jensen, I have video of him practing freestyle posted somewhere on here.

Also, again for guy310...

the #44 is Fred Morrell, the the 2011 CRA open class champ. He has been racing since 1983 and has raced both the 3 wheeler and 4 wheeler Pro Class Nationals in the 80's and 90's. He even did those old 4 wheeler wars at the monster truck shows...the ones were the results...and fights were staged.

Here is the other part of the video I posted.

I like that part at 1:52-2:05...

"I like to ride them because it is a different type of racing and a lot of people look at these 3 wheelers and don't even think they can ride them slow let alone ride them at 60-70 mph like we do"

wow that is some sweet footage...I don't own any but have ridden some 3 wheelers...here's my take on the subject and where our country is going wrong....3 wheelers are not so dangerous they should be outlawed...they are like 2 wheelers or guns or airplanes in the respect that the persons operating them must be skilled and ride them in control...planes crash all the time killing lots of people and they wouldn't think of outlawing them....the consumer products safety commission has been way out of bounds and out of control for years....

more like they should outlaw stupid people...Lol...anyways I enjoyed your video and thats my rant for the morning...

They are definitely entertaining to watch and you can't deny the skill that many of them have. I have watched these same guys at Summit many times. I will be there again this year Black Sheep and I will be on a blue YFZ number 310 and my name is Guy Sutton so feel free to come and talk to me.

That is not Tim Sr. on the Tri-Z. Bryan Raffa is on the yellow Z and John McCain is on the orange Z. Both of them are big bore 330's

I doubt you'll see me or my team at summit this year. The two races have been dropped from our CRA points series and are now part of a informal "local" series.
