2007 er engine question

So I sold my race bike and kept some parts off my practice bike to put together another bike for a couple of local races and what not. I got a 2007 frame and engine dirt cheap about a year ago. I guess the previous owner drained the oil before he sold it to me so it has been sitting for 14 months no oil in it, bone stock engine. will i run into any problems if i put some oil in, drain it, put fresh oil and try to start it up after its been sitting for so long with no oil?

as long as it hasnt been started with no oil then its fine. make sure there isnt dirt in the intake ports or anything.

i would rock engine side to side with oil in it to insure all bearings in side cases have lube prior to start

ya i was going to do something like that so nothing seized up

try rolling the motor over to get some oil pumping to the head and other things then try and start

take the plug out and put some oil into the cylinder might want to remove the valve cover and cover everything with oil just to be safe.
